Mr. Sundeep Talwar
Sundeep Talwar is the Chief Marketing Officer of The Akshaya Patra Foundation, the World’s largest school meal program run by an NGO feeding over 1.67 million children every day in 36 locations and 12 states in India. Having over 26 years of work experience in the areas of marketing & communications with leading corporates especially in Telecom Sector, Mr. Talwar, is a dual Post Graduate in Management from Duke & IIM-Ahmedabad and certified Black-Belt in Quality. Prior to joining Akshaya Patra, he was associated as National Business Head (Mobility Operations) with Aircel India, driving the Mobile Banking operations nationally. He has also essayed Senior Leadership Roles with brands like Bharti Airtel, Motorola, Escotel & Essar Cellular across country and in Africa. He has been awarded with an international accreditation from BID Spain for developing the first anti-virus application. His search for ‘Existential Purpose’ in life led him to join the Akshaya Patra Foundation, quitting his corporate career. With his earnestness, he has become a part and parcel of Akshaya Patra’s success as it looks forward to receive its 7th ‘Gold Shield‘ award in a row from the prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) for excellence in financial reporting. For its noble working, Akshaya Patra has become a subject for case study at Harvard Business School and has been in featured in MIT’s technology review. By 2020, Akshaya Patra looks forward to feed 5 million children daily.
